Rebecca (Becca) Grzadzinski is a graduate of the Lord lab and currently an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina (UNC). Throughout graduate school, Becca led efforts to develop a novel treatment response measure for toddlers with autism-- the Brief Observation of Social Communication Change (BOSCC; Grzadzinski et al., 2016). Since completing her graduate training with Dr. Lord, Becca went on to complete a her clinical internship at UNC's TEACCH Autism Program and T32 postdoctoral training under Drs. Heather Hazlett and Linda Watson. She has developed expertise in early sensory reactivity and associated autism outcomes, physiological signatures of sensory reactivity (e.g., pupillary dynamics), and neurogenetic conditions with high prevalence of co-occurring autism (e.g. Down Syndrome). Becca has several actively funded research projects as well as interdisciplinary co-investigators across psychiatry, neuroscience, engineering, and computational sciences.
