Dr. Nicole Rosen is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship through the Autism Science Foundation to lead the Next Generation Siblings project (“Next Gen Sibs”), a multi-site research study designed to developmentally monitor and assess infants with an autistic aunt or uncle to better understand developmental trajectories in this next generation. Dr. Rosen also works in the Bilingual and Spanish Interdisciplinary Clinical Training Program (BASIC-T), a partnership between the UCLA Hispanic Neuropsychiatric Center of Excellence and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health to support the needs of foster care youth through neuropsychological assessments and provider training/education. Dr. Rosen completed her doctoral training at UCLA, during which she led various sibling research studies, provided assessments and interventions to neurodiverse youth and adults, and assisted with the development and validation of novel autism measures. Her research interests center on examining and supporting the bidirectional relationship between autistic individuals and their siblings across the lifespan.
