Michelle Valencia is an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Lord Lab, where she contributes to multiple research initiatives, including behavioral coding for the Brief Observation of Social Communication Change (BOSCC) and data management for a longitudinal study. Her research interests center on neurodiversity and the impact of autism on family dynamics. Through her lab experience, she has honed her skills in data analysis and research methodology. In the future, Michelle plans to attend dental school and provide comprehensive care to patients with special healthcare needs.
