Dr. Melissa Maye served as a Research Assistant in the Lord Lab from 2006 to 2010. During her time in the lab, she coordinated the Longitudinal Studies of Autism Spectrum Disorder 2-to-23 project, first as an undergraduate and later as a post-baccalaureate research assistant. Following her work in the Lord Lab, Dr. Maye earned her doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Boston, completed a clinical internship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently an Assistant Scientist in the Center for Healthcare Improvement at Henry Ford Health and holds a dual appointment as Research Assistant Professor at Michigan State University through the Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences partnership. Dr. Maye's research focuses on improving access to evidence-based interventions for young children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
