About
Juliette Lerner is a current doctoral student in Human Development and Psychology working with Dr. Catherine Lord. Her work in the Lord Lab focuses primarily on the Longitudinal Study of Autism (LSA) and a cognitive assessment project adapting measures for autistic adults with intellectual disability who are minimally and/or non-speaking. More broadly, she is interested in cognitive aging and change, adult outcomes and intervention targets, and how assessment tools can be made more accessible and meaningful for people with a wide range of abilities and support needs. Before starting her Ph.D., Juliette earned her B.A. in Psychology at UCLA with a minor in Disability Studies. Her research is shaped by years of clinical, research, and community-based work with autistic youth, adults, and their families across assessment, intervention, and disability support settings.
