Ellie Antici is a fourth-year clinical psychology Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine. Broadly, she is interested in improving mental health outcomes among adversity-exposed youth, with a particular focus on the immune system and social relationships as mechanisms linking early life adversity to mental health. Ellie joined the Lord Lab as a practicum student to gain clinical experience with autistic clients across the lifespan, aiming to better understand best practices in assessment and intervention with this population. Her long-term career goal is to combine research and clinical practice to improve mental health outcomes for adversity-exposed youth.
